15th
November, 2000
Mill Park Somer Sprite gave us a
gorgeous (& very leggy) grey filly by
Boomori Finale.
She has been registered as 'Silver Flair'. |
July
2002 - We have decided to retain Silver Flair (Boomori Finale x MillPark
Somer Sprite) for the stud. Initially we will show her in halter then she will
commence a saddle career with our daughter Katina. Silver Flair while
maintaining 'type' is promising to mature at approximately 15.1hh.

On the 20th October

is by our stallion Boomori Finale at 12.45 am during a short lull in our
first good amount of rain fall occurring!

We are very happy to announce that on the 21st October 2004
Michelle Carpenter's Appaloosa/TB cross mare 'Perdita' gave her a very
lovely bay colt by Boomori Finale. We congratulate her & Perdita on their
first foal. He has been named 'Conley' which means
strong willed, wise, hero; Michelle says that so far he
is living up to his name! |
1st November
2004:
Boomori Finale & MillPark Somer Sprite's filly who was
born 10 days ago has been sold to a delightful lady in Victoria. The filly will
stay with us until she is weaned & we're satisfied she can travel that distance
with no complications. She has been registered as Kamana Stormy Silver; her name
arose from when she was born - we had severe thunderstorms AND cyclonic winds!.

Our sincere
congratulations to Linda Henley on her first pure Crabbet foal. Wootton
Charisma was born in November 2004 out of Chamara by Boomori Finale.
Charisma gave us all a bit of a surprise; Linda wanted a colt (sorry Linda)
& we were amazed at Charisma's white markings as Finale has never sired a
foal with such extensive white.
This photo of Wootton Charisma was taken by Linda in September 2005.

Our Anglo Arabian mare, Myrimbah Caleche became a mother for the first time
when she foaled a gorgeous bay filly on the 19th
November 2004 by our pure Crabbet stallion Boomori Finale. This is our
first foray into breeding Anglo Arabians for over 2 decades and we are
highly impressed with the outcome. |
It is with enormous sadness
for us to report that our beautiful 4 month Anglo Arabian bay filly (Myrimbah
Caleche
x Boomori Finale) broke her hind leg in an accident & had
to be euthanized. As she had not only correct conformation but also a very
loving, sweet nature, we foresaw a successful future for her that never
eventuated. RIP

October 2005:
Kamana Stormy Silver is now living in Tasmania with her new owner
Paula Cowling who is very pleased with Kamana Stormy Silver's loving
nature.
Paula intends to show her in halter & then in performance.
NB. This photo was taken by us in September; prior to 'Jeanni' leaving on
her long journey to Tasmania.

November
2005:
After much deliberation, we have sold our stallion Ibn Rimski to an very
nice lady, Zuvele Leschen, who resides in Victoria. Although we hated him leaving us,
we knew he wasn't being fully utilised now we only breed pure Crabbet
Arabians.
From Zuvele's comments it's apparent that Ibn Rimski has fully settled into
his new place & has commenced his stud duties. Zuvele will be standing him
at open stud so if you wish to view Ibn Rimski regarding sending your mare
to him or you want to know if she has any of his progeny for sale, you can
contact her at zuvelel@yahoo.com

August 2006 Update:
Zuvele has informed us Ibn Rimski is expecting two foals this coming
season & already has outside mares booked (some are coming from SA now he is
residing in Victoria). Rimi is enjoying himself & keeping people entertained
with his amazing character.
MillPark Somer Sprite is expecting a foal in November 06 to Boomori
Finale.
December 2006:

MillPark Somer
Sprite & Boomori Finale have produced another stunning foal. The
chestnut/grey filly (as yet un-named) was born on 1st December 2006
at 12.05am. This time Sprite waited until all the thunderstorms had passed
before foaling.
NB This photo was taken when the
filly was 4 days old by C Swan

June 2007 Update:
MillPark Somer Sprite &
Boomori Finale's last filly has been named 'Kamana Cool Jazz'.
Due to our continuing
ill-health & as Katina is now studying at Newcastle university & will be away
for the next 5 years, we have decided to sell majority of our horses.
We are offering for sale Silver Flair (Boomori Finale x MillPark Somer
Sprite), Silver Crescent (Overdale Farm Magic Silver x Overdale Farm
Rishalanie), Myrimbah Caleche (Pinaroo Kasim x Bravenus). Their pedigrees are
available on either the 'Mares' page or the 'For Sale' page. More photos will be
uploaded to the gallery soon.

November 2007 Update:
Due to injuries received
during a severe thunderstorm on 3rd November, Kamana Impression (Boomori
Finale x MillPark Somer Sprite) was euthanized. This outstanding young
horse was aptly named as he always made an impression on everyone who saw
him! RIP Indy

October 2008 Update:
Silver Crescent has
finally left us to start her journey to New Zealand; due to the EI aftermath
restrictions it looked like Silver Crescent would be foaling here! She is in
foal to our stallion Boomori Finale. We're sure her new owner Lyn Marshall
will enjoy having Cressy with her as much as we did.
November 08 Update:
Lyn informed us that Cressy is now in NZ quarantine; she is being
well cared for judging by the quarantine staff's comments. |
