ted R.A.D Ballet Exam Results

This year has seen some wonderful results obtained by all students who recently sat for their R.A.D Classical Ballet examinations.

All of our Classical Ballet teachers must be congratulated on all their hard work and nurturing of our students. The results for all students have been amazing this year.

Congratulations girls, you have done our studio proud with your achievements and hard work.

I kow that all students would like to extend their sincere thanks to Miss Krisyn Tindall and Miss Alison Higgins for their many hours of tuition.

Thanks also to Miss Alison Beeby and Miss Allycia Schofield for their contribution to our students preparation.

Welcome to Our New Teaching Staff

The beginning of 2007 sees some changes in our teaching staff although many teachers you already know and love are still in place.

Firstly we would like to welcome Miss Shae Anderson back to our faculty after doing 12 months study at a Sydney University in Dance. Shae has not only come back to us to contribute in a teaching capacity but has is now learning to do reception and business skills.

Next, please welcome back Miss Alison Beeby to our Classical Ballet faculty, Miss Alison has been a teacher within our studio for several years but took a year off last year due to other work committments, our students are very happy to have her back again.

It is with pleasure that I introduce to you both Miss Alison Higgins and Miss Allycia Schofield to our teaching faculty. They both come to us as qualified R.A.D Classical Ballet teachers of the highest standard who have decided to resume their careers in the dance profession.

Miss Alison will be concentrating on the lower Grades of our Classical syllabus nurturing our youngest students whilst Miss Allycia will be taking varied Ballet classes and is a brilliant choreographer who will also be taking private lesson students for not only ballet but Contemporary and Jazz.

Welcome again to Miss Sophie McKie who stepped into our Junior Hip Hop Classes last year when Miss Becci began her employment at Seaworld on the Gold Coast. Miss Sophie is continuing with these classes plus also assisting Miss Alison Maloney and Miss Shae in the Preschool classes to gain experience with the tiny tots.

Junior Hip Hop Classes

Enrolments for our popular Junior Hip Hop Classes has been very pleasing, the children are having fun in their classes enjoying thier new teacher, Miss Sophie and there are still some class vacancies for anyone wishing to join in the fun.

Stretch Classes With Miss Shae and Miss Jordyn

During 2006 we commenced Stretch classes for strength and flexibility.These classes have been extremely popular so we decided to keep running them this year as the benefits to students have been wonderful.

Flexibility in some students has increased tremendously and this can only be seen as helpful in all areas of their dance tuition. Classes alternate between Miss Shae taking a general stretch class and Miss Jordyn taking students for body conditioning.
