RALLIES We hold instructional Rallies on the 4th Saturday of every month. Usually covering dressage and showjumping. From time to time we travel to other venues for various activities, eg cross country or indoors for winter We sometimes hold Rallies on Sundays, usually out of competition season, but during competition months we get more riders on the Saturday, however we do try to accommodate all our members wishes where possible.
COMING ACTIVITIES The Club has a range of activities planned for the year including some Instructional clinics and a SJ series as well as our usual events, our Dressage and CT Day and our Fun Gymkhana where we run fun events and have a Special Guest Judge for the 'Fun ring'. 'Hyacinth Bucket' and 'Dame Edna Everage' have been a big hit in the past and we are looking forward to the arrival of 'The Queen' this year. We also have planed BBQ's, Movie nights, Trail Rides and more.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month where we decide on instructors, activities and any changes to dates or venues that may be required. Also matters concerning fundraising, working bees and ground improvements. COMPETITIONS The Club runs a number of events mentioned above and also participates in events held by other Clubs. The most popular competition being the HRCAV Top Team Trophy which is the Associations 'State Championships'. But unlike other State Championships riders from any level, from the lowest to the highest are able to compete, representing their Club against other competitors of a similar standard. These are usually fun days where Club members go along for the Social side and assists each other in their preparation and to cheer each rider on and hopefully to help the team to success.
ASSESSMENTS All members wishing to compete in official competitions must be assessed by a Level Assessor to gage their ability and place them in the correct level to compete against horse and rider combinations of a similar standard.
