Our old ram 76/03 won Champion Southdown Ram, all the rest of our entries came second in their respective classes.

Royal Melbourne Show September 2005.

The Melbourne Royal show is the premiere show for Southdowns in Australia.
This year's Melbourne Royal was a great success for the Southdown Sheep breed.
Not only were there seven Southdown exhibiitors, (second largest to Poll Dorsets) but Southdowns were the second largest exhibited sheep breed at this years show (Poll Dorsets were the largest).

"Clear Hills" took along eight Rams to the 2005 Melbourne Royal, seven Southdowns and one Aussiedown.
All our sheep this year won ribbons, ranging from a first with our Aussiedown ram, seconds, third, forths, fifths and highly commendeds.
Seeing as we have had a very hard year for feed and our rams are not at their peak we were exceedingly happy with this result.

Yarrawonga Show October 2005.

Yarrawonga is a local show for us, and we took along 2 Southdown Rams, and one Aussiedown ram.
Our Aussiedown Ram won first in his class as well as winning Champion Aussiedown Ram. Our Southdown Rams took out first and second in their class as well as, 86/04, won Champion Southdown Ram.

There are several shows left until the end of the year, so hopefully there may be some more results to report.
