- The Guilds
-
- The Guilds are the sources and
repositories of the disciplines and knowledge of the Company. They are the
means by which the members can accumulate, impart and improve their
knowledge of history, techniques, skills and presentation.
- All these provide for the objectives of the Company to be
maintained which would lead to the successful entertainment of the public
and enjoyment of the members.
- The Guilds are under the control of the Leader and the
Gathering of the Guild Masters. The Gathering of the Guild Masters is made
up of the Company Adjutant and the Masters of each
Guild
- The Guild Master will be in charge of their respective
Guild and the Master will ensure that subject matter is accumulated,
knowledge is imparted to the Members, training is undertaken and that any
asset pertaining to that Guild is maintained and safely
stored
- There can only be one Guild Master for each Guild, but
assistants may be chosen by the Master to help in any area of Guild
responsibility.
- It will be expected that Guild Masters are well versed in their
particular field and to some extent they will have a good working
knowledge of all Guild arts, crafts and techniques.
- Members of the Company may attend one or more of the Guilds to
learn about their interests, offer their input into the training and
presentation of the skills of Company.
